“PAVE A MILE IN PENNIES”

Connecticut will be hosting the New England Youth Conference in 2005 and we are starting a fundraiser. We will be trying to pave as many miles in pennies as we can. A mile is 5,280 feet, and 16 pennies equals a foot so that equals $844.80 per mile. We are asking ALL Youth Committees to start a collection jug in your Grange and Pomona for your members to donate their pennies to our fund. These donations will be collected by the State Youth Committee at various functions throughout the year.
