| MARCH 15, 2012 -- Wednesday, March 21, 2012 is this year's annual Ag Day celebration at the Capitol in Hartford, and the Connecticut State Grange will be participating. Located in the North Lobby of the Capitol building from 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM, over 50 agricultural associations, including the Connecticut State Grange, will be present to answer questions and distribute information.
Legislative leaders and their aides are encouraged to visit the booths and displays, providing agricultural organizations the opportunity to inform policy makers of the importance of agriculture, to voice concerns, and discuss legislation important to agriculture.
The celebration will also feature presentations of awards and the official proclamation of "Connecticut Agriculture Day" by Governor Dannel Malloy.
The Connecticut State Grange will be hosting an interactive booth, explaining the organization's mission and significance to Connecticut agriculture. The booth will be manned at all times, and offer information, hand-outs and samples.
