State President Jody Cameron has asked that the "Code of the Pomona Grange: Preamble" be published as a reminder to all members.

"It will bee seen that the organization of Pomona Granges is intended to “strengthen and aid” the Subordinate Granges.  While the beautiful and instructive lessons of this Degree cannot fail to broaden the understanding and cultivate the moral and intellectual nature of all who receive it, at the same time the knowledge and culture there gained should be used by every member of the Degree of Pomona to strengthen and advance the interest of the Subordinate Granges.  Pomona Granges are also required to take special charge of the business interests of the Order in their several districts.  These interests are of vast importance and daily growing in magnitude, requiring the best wisdom of those to whom they are entrusted."
