| MAY 5, 2011 -- At long last winter has lost its grip and spring is on the way. I have reports from some Grangers that things are beginning to look, and feel, better, and are ready to take up coming projects. Don't be bashful about asking your newer members and friends to help in your community service projects, clean-up, dinners, etc.
For our youth... applications are available for scholarships. You need to have completed one year at an accredited college. Student loans are available to those having complted a semester. Please contact the Central Office for information at (860) 633-7550 or Secretary@CTStateGrange.org.
There have been many activities during the month of April celebrating Grange month. I hope you took advantage of the fun and fellowship at Rally Day, bowling, and the Mystery Night.
Looking ahead, plan to attend Let's Celebrate on June 12th at Cheshire Grange; mark your calendars for July 16th- another get-together, an “Old Fashioned Grange Picnic” planned by the Rhode Island and Connecticut State Granges at Washington County Fairgrounds in RI!
