| AUGUST 8, 2011 -- The summer is almost over and fall activities are being planned. Those returning to college should send in an application for a scholarship. They are due October 1st.
The State Grange Session will be held October 20-22 at the Hartford Plaza Hotel (formerly the Sheraton) in East Hartford. The room rates will remain at $79 plus tax. Registration fees will remain the same and lunch will be included. Now on the agenda will be a workshop by Carmen Brickner on leadership. This will be very interesting. Mark your calendars and be present.
The State Master, Jody Cameron, asked that we bring in a new member a month. Granges have brought in several and we are looking forward to a large class for the Sixth Degree on Friday evening. Sixth Degree applications are available at the Central Office. |
