| DECEMBER 7, 2011 -- There was action taken by the delegates at National Grange that each Community Grange must be aware of.
There is a change in article 6.2.4 Code of Subordinate Granges, it was amended to read: 6.2.4 Whenever the membership of a Subordinate Grange declines to fewer than 13 members or fewer than four members of either gender, the Charter shall be suspended or revoked pursuant to article V of the By-Laws of the National Grange.
This change was immediate and is in effect. It is important your Grange review your membership records to make sure you are in compliance with 6.2.4 as written above. If you are in violation, it is imperative you contact me as soon as possible so we may discuss and develop action plans to stabilize your membership. |
