| JUNE 11, 2013 -- With so many Granges initiating new members with the Welcoming Ceremony, we should urge all new members to attend a degree day or degrees to witness the various degrees and learn of the lessons offered. As Secretary, have you enough Declaration of Purposes and “Welcome to the Grange” to be given to new members? They are available through the Central Office or can be ordered from National.
I hope you are planning on attending “Let’s Celebrate” at Cheshire Grange on June 9. As usual the Youth will serve lunch at noon and the program will begin at 1 P.M. A fun day for all.
Scholarship applications have been sent out and we are hoping for a good response. The student does not have to attend UConn. There is time to have applications mailed out and returned. The deadline is September 1. |
