NOVEMBER 2007 --
Do you have any Grange members attending college? Students may obtain loans by applying. Freshmen may apply for $750 after completing the first semester. A loan of $1,500 per year may be made to a Sophomore, Junior or Senior. Also, a graduate student may receive a loan not to exceed $1,500 per year. Forms and rules and regulations may be obtained from the State Grange Central Office.
The Scholarship Committee presented five scholarships at the Annual Session to deserving students, also members of the Grange and active in their Subordinate Granges. Three are attending the University of Connecticut, one Connecticut College, New London, and one at the University of New Hampshire. The scholarships are no longer limited to the University of Connecticut. Applications for the scholarships may also be obtained from the State Grange Central Office.
