Inspection process changed |
| |
DECEMBER 2007 --
The fall Pink Sash meeting was held on Sat., Nov. 24 at Good Will Grange Hall. At the meeting, the State Master outlined changes to the traditional inspection process. Inspections will now be called “Evaluations” and will no longer involve the scoring of Granges on a numeric basis.
Instead, Deputies will schedule to visit on a meeting night and review the records of the Treasurer, Secretary, and Lecturer and then will observe the conduct of the meeting. A written report will then be submitted to the State Master who will then review the report and send the traditional letter to each of the Granges, minus the score. It had originally been planned to follow the same process for the Pomona Granges. After meeting with the Deputies, the State Master decided to keep the Inspections the same for all Pomona Granges. Complete details on the new evaluation/inspection process will be outlined at the Dec./Jan. Schools of Instruction. Dates and locations will be announced soon.
