June 1: Election of Officers - Planting Tips

June 10: Monte Carlo Whist Card Party

July 6: Sparklers Galore

Here it is May 1st and time to write an article for the June paper. Time sure flies by fast. It doesn’t seem possible it is time for the Election of Officers.

Some of our current officers have had health issues this past winter. I wish all our brothers and sisters good health for the coming summer season. It is no fun when you have to lay low and look at the dust bunnies accumulating under your furniture.

I hope the folks that are making something for the Needlework Contest have their entries completed and ready for the Pomona Judging May 31st at Good Will Grange Hall. The State Judging will be on June 10th at Cheshire Grange Hall followed by Grange Sunday on June 11th. The hall will open at 10:00 a.m. for folks to view the exhibits. State Grange Chaplain’s service will begin at 11:00 a.m. Plan on spending the day and enjoy viewing the exhibits, attend the State Chaplains service, lunch by the State Youth and Junior Committees and then at 1:00 p.m. the State Lecturer’s “A Number and Talent Contest “ will begin. It will be a fun-filled day.

Hope to see you there.
