All meetings have been held and at the May 1st meeting, 10 members were present. Joan Perry sat in for Linda Harkens, Overseer. Joan is Master of Senexet Grange #40. Several other officers were absent. The Baking Contest is coming up June 5th. The recipe in the Blue Book can be received from the Lecturer or Master of your Grange.

Killingly’s Silent Auction will be held on June 30. Businesses in the area have been notified and contacted. If interested call Nancy Arena at 860-455-5083.

We will again be participating in the town-wide Tomato Festival in September. We all look forward to that event as it involves lots of children who decorate tomatoes. Fun time!

Dairy Month is up-coming. Make a goodie with something of a dairy product in it such as a cake (milk), cookies (butter), pie crust (butter). So far this is the third copy I have made and corrected, deleted or added to. Looking out my window I see a lovely branch of apple blossoms from a small tree. I always try to look on the bright side. By this time I should know how to do this report. Maybe next month? The sun is shining.
