  DECEMBER 1, 2021 --

Dec. 3: Christmas in Riverton

Dec.  4: Dedication of Peggy & Frank Prelli Memorial  Walkway, Noon.

Dec. 5:  Mt. Laurel Pomona will meet at Riverton at 2 P.M.

Dec. 5: Veteran of the Month Recognition Ceremony at the Barkhamsted Senior Center, 6 P.M.

Dec. 17: Grange Meeting, 6:45 Social Time, Meeting 7:30 P.M.

Thank you all to those who attended  our  November  meeting.

It was nice to meet in-person, learn how to turn the heat on, and a special thank you to Gail Prelli/ Charlie Bierce for the wonderful refreshments. A request was made to share all upcoming dates.

Everyone who attended the Mystery Tour to Squires Tavern (Ullman Farm) agreed it was a fun event and liked that our Grange is restoring the former Mystery Tour tradition. Thank you, Riverton General Store, for donating the homemade Buck’s ice cream for attendees.

Members agreed to ask the Executive Committee  to  review the hall usage policy and suggest changes. We will also be restoring the wall calendar to track usage.

The Executive Committee will review outdoor repairs needed to our Grange hall.

We are planning on hosting Degrees in April as a “new member orientation.”

Vice President Rod will work on replacing the lights in the kitchen with LED bulbs.

Riverton Grange (and members Sue Belle Isle, Raine Pedersen and Shirley Moore who received individual awards)  received MANY Grange awards from the Connecticut State Grange including Honor Grange and Top Community Service   Grange!   Congratulations all!
