The delegate body of National Grange has approved the formation of an advisory committee, titled "The Action Grange Advisory Committee" to identify ways to stem the losses of membership and create a new and exciting future for the organization. Their goal is to develop a strategy and a plan including a detailed list of initiatives designed to renew the Grange at the Subordinate (local) level. The advisory committee has identified five critical areas and have made recommendations for change.

Those areas are as follows:

• Leadership Development
• Membership Development
• Relevance
• Operations
• Managing Change

Select Subordinate Granges in every Grange state throughout the country are participating as Action Granges. In the State of Connecticut, three Granges are currently taking part in this new and exciting program. They are Ekonk Community Grange #89 located in Sterling, North Stonington Grange #138 located in North Stonington, and Cannon Grange #152 located in Wilton. For more information on each of these individual Granges and their activities, please click on the name of each Grange and you will be forwarded to their individual Grange page.
