Taghhannuck Grange invites members of the general public to share its annual Harvest Potluck Dinner, to be held on November 10th at the Grange Hall. Each family should bring a covered dish and Grange will supply beverages and dessert. Dinner begins at 6:30 PM and will be followed by a short program.

Hillstown Grange's Annual Holiday Fair has been canceled this year. We are sorry to all the fans of this fair but with bad weather and several of our crafters and bakers unable to work on their projects we are unable to host it this year.

Meriden Grange will be hosting a Family-Style Roast Beef Supper with the Meriden Humane Society on November 12th from 5:00 to 6:30 PM. This will be a fund-raiser to help the Humane Society. This will be open to the public. Everyone attending will be asked to also bring a food item for a dog or a cat (dry or canned food). This is open to the public with admission $10.00 for adults and $5.00 for children. Takeouts are available. We will be serving string beans, mashed potatoes, roast beef, Cindy's coleslaw, and dessert.

The evening will start with a potluck supper followed by a short business meeting and program. A Country Store will follow. Program to be presented by Charles Dimmick and is titled “Frogs and Toads”
