| SEPTEMBER 24, 2026 -- They say that change is good. If that is true, things should be good at Nutmeg Pomona when we meet on Sunday, Sept. 27th at Wallingford Grange at 2:00. A potluck dinner will be held at the close of the meeting- Wallingford Grange in charge.
Lecturer Robert Charbonneau will present his final program “Autumn Leaves.” What a beautiful time of year to go for a ride, so let’s fill the hall.
Changes - new Lecturer Karen Macdonald (Greenfield Hill), Treasurer Diane Calabro (Cheshire), Secretary MaryAlyce Lee (Cheshire) and Executive Comm. Jim Ritter (Harmony). We thank retiring Lecturer Robert Charbonneau of Cheshire Grange and Secretary Joanne Cipriano of Beacon Valley Grange for their years in these offices. As with all meetings, we appreciate donations to the Country Store and cans of soup for our community service project.
Family Activities Chair Jane Miller will present the state prizes to the winners in the Family Activities contests.
The new Pomona Handbooks will be distributed at this meeting. Please arrange to have someone from your Grange pick them up.
On a personal note: I would like to thank the Secretaries in each of the Granges in Nutmeg Pomona for all their help. It has been an honor and privilege to serve as Secretary since the redistricting. It was not an easy decision to give up what you have enjoyed doing, but sometimes it is just necessary.
