Taghhannuck Grange to host Living Wills program on 10/11

By Barbara Prindle

  SEPTEMBER 30, 2012 --

Taghhannuck Grange invites everyone to learn about Living Wills.

Most people do not have a living will, also called a health care directive, but everyone should have one, even if they are young and healthy. Learn why this is true on Thursday, October 11th at 7:30 at the Taghhannuck Grange Hall, 4 Dunbar Road, Sharon, CT. There will be a very short business meeting, if needed, followed by the program “Living Wills”. Both the short meeting and the discussion are open to the public.

Grange member Attorney Amy Schuchat-Prindle will answer the question of the need for a living will and what this entails. She will have forms and handouts to help you understand what it means to have an advance health directive. Audience questions will be answered at the end of the presentation.

Refreshments will follow the Grange Program. The Grange Hall is located between Sharon and Cornwall Bridge off Route #4 behind Ellsworth Hill Farm. Contact Barbara Prindle with any questions at (860) 364-5373.
