Winchester Grange seeking Vendors for Craft & Bake Sale

By Terri Fassio

  JANUARY 27, 2013 --

Attention artisans and crafters! Set your sights on warmer weather as Winchester Grange is hosting its second annual Cabin Fever Craft and Bake Sale on Saturday, March 30 from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, and is seeking vendors to participate.

An eight foot table is available at the non-refundable price of $20.00 for Grange members, and $30.00 for non-members.  A discount of $5.00 off will be applied to non-members who reserve their space prior to March 1st.  Non-profit organizations who are interested in reserving a space are asked to call or e-mail for more information.  Don’t miss a great opportunity to display creative work at this fun-filled family-oriented event.

Featuring over 20 vendors selling a variety of items such as homemade crafts, jewelry, pottery, and home decorations, the Cabin Fever Craft and Bake Sale also features a Soup and Sandwich Luncheon presented by the Grange.  Winchester Grange Hall is located at 100 Newfield Road.

The Cabin Fever Craft and Bake Sale is one of the major fundraisers sponsored by Winchester Grange. The proceeds from the event will go towards the many community projects and donations sponsored by the organization.

Space is limited and filling quickly, so interested parities are asked to reserve early.  For more information or to make table reservations, visit www.WinchesterGrange.org or contact Winchester Grange Program Coordinator Ramona Fassio at 860-482-2733; via e-mail at info@WinchesterGrange.org or lecturer@WinchesterGrange.org.

Formed January 2, 1888, Winchester Grange is commemorating its 125th Anniversary throughout 2013 with a series of special events.  Winchester Grange is one of the largest Community Granges east of the Mississippi River in membership, and is extremely active in the Winchester Center community, holding numerous programs and events year-round.

Getting to Winchester Center: From Winsted, take Route 263 to the Winchester Center green. From Torrington, take Newfield Road (at the corner of Winsted Rd. and N. Main St.) to the Winchester Center green.
