| DECEMBER 7, 2013 -- Hi everyone - I’m Hank the Burro, and I am the new mascot of the Connecticut State Grange. I am part of the Grange Herd. Each Grange State, along with each National Grange department, now have mascots. This project was introduced at the 147th National Grange Convention held in November in New Hampshire. Together, all of the mascots form the Grange Herd.
For the next year, I will be touring the State of Connecticut, visiting Granges, working on Grange projects, going to Grange events, and maybe even visiting places outside of Connecticut too! I am an ambassador for the Connecticut Granges, spreading Grange cheer, working to promote the benefits and programs of the Grange, making a difference through community service, and having some fun along the way.
More information will be announced soon on my Community Service project, including the charity I will be helping. We are in the process of developing my itinerary and some fun programs too.
