News from Greenfield Hill Grange for January 2014

  JANUARY 2, 2014 --

November saw the beginning of our Winter Farmers Market, which runs on Saturdays from 10 A.M. to 2 P.M. until mid-April.  Our regular meeting was preceded by a pre-Thanksgiving dinner with turkey and all the fixings and desserts made and provided by many of our members.  It was great with members and friends enjoying the meal and the fellowship.  The meeting dealt with reports on developments in agriculture, and letter writing with regard to implementation of more reasoned food safety regulations as applicable to farmers.

In January, we have a Pasta Supper scheduled for the 11th, at 6 P.M.  R.S.V.P. for details by calling (203) 367-4373.  At our regular meeting, we will be involved with planning ahead for Spring and Summer activities as well as garden demo projects and general improvements.  Bring your ideas!  All of our Grange friends are welcome!
