Winchester Grange seeking Vendors for Craft & Bake Sale

By Terri Fassio, Public Relations Co-Director

  FEBRUARY 20, 2014 --

Attention artisans and crafters! Set your sights on warmer weather as Winchester Grange is hosting its third annual Cabin Fever Craft and Bake Sale on Saturday, March 29th from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, and is seeking vendors to participate.

An eight foot table is available at the non-refundable price of $30.00. Non-profit organizations who are interested in reserving a space are asked to call or e-mail for more information.  Don’t miss a great opportunity to display creative work at this fun-filled family-oriented event.

Featuring over 20 vendors selling a variety of items such as homemade crafts, jewelry, pottery, and home decorations, the Cabin Fever Craft and Bake Sale also features a Soup and Sandwich Luncheon presented by the Grange. Winchester Grange Hall is located at 100 Newfield Road, Winchester Center.

The Cabin Fever Craft and Bake Sale is one of the major fundraisers sponsored by Winchester Grange. The proceeds from the event will go towards the many community projects and donations sponsored by the organization.

Space is limited and fills quickly, so interested parities are asked to reserve early.  For more information or to make table reservations, visitwww.WinchesterGrange.org for a downloadable application form, or contact Winchester Grange Program Coordinator Ramona Fassio at 860-482-2733; via e-mail at info@WinchesterGrange.org or lecturer@WinchesterGrange.org.

Formed January 2, 1888, Winchester Grange has been serving its community for over 125 years.  Winchester Grange is one of the largest Community Granges east of the Mississippi River in membership, and is extremely active in the Winchester Center community, holding numerous programs and events year-round.

Getting to Winchester Center: From Winsted, take Route 263 to the Winchester Center green. From Torrington, take Newfield Road (at the corner of Winsted Rd. and N. Main St.) to the Winchester Center green.
