  APRIL 25, 2014 --

The Oxford Grange #194, Inc. will be hosting a Small Business Fair on Saturday, May 3, 2014 to increase public awareness of the variety of small businesses in our area.  The fair will be held at the Oxford Grange Hall located at 468 Oxford Rd/CT Rte 67 in Oxford, CT.  The event is open to the general public and runs from 9 AM to 2 PM.  A variety of vendors has signed up for the fair and will be on hand to exhibit their goods and services.  This is an excellent opportunity for the  public to learn about some of the businesses and the goods and services they offer to the area.

In addition to the vendor displays, there will be a number of speakers on a variety of topics of interest.  Ronald Emond, DVM, of Candlewood Equine will speak at 11:00 AM on equine parasite control.  Next Step Living will offer periodic talks on home energy efficiency.  TLC Homecare of Woodbury will explain the services they offer to the public.  Heritage Financial Group will offer periodic talks on retirement income planning.  Envirocare, LLC  will be answering questions on pest control.

The Reiki Connection will offer brief sessions for a small fee.  Amongst the other vendors are:  online groceries, handmade jewelry, candles, woodworking, long-arm quilting, freezer plans, organic food items, simple to prepare meals, photography services, and others.  There will be a creative vendor doing face painting for children.

It is not too late for interested vendors to reserve a table for $15 by contacting Maggie Buck at 203-264-0462.  there are still a small number of spaces available.
