Around The Grange
January 2015 News from Lyme Grange
  JANUARY 22, 2015 --

On a lovely evening in December we had the most delicious potluck supper with 18 in attendance.  A discussion was held about our first and second degrees in May.  Many of our new members have never witnessed them.  It’s going to mean a few rehearsals to get our act together.

Invitations have been sent out to 10 people who will be receiving certificates and seals at our Jan. meeting.  They range from 70 to 25 years.

We elected a new steward to replace Cindy Fogle who passed in November.  Now he will need to be installed.  Norman Stitham was our Steward in Old Lyme and he comes to us very knowledgeable.

Lots of rain lately- at least in Lyme.  Old vines tails – “Winter will not set in till the wells are full.”

16 notes have been written to several people- and will be sent via Frank Forest to them.
