April News from Beacon Valley Grange

By Joanne Cipriano

  APRIL 6, 2015 --

April will be a busy month for the members of Beacon Valley Grange.

On Saturday April 25th we will host a Degree Day being put on by the members of Excelsior Pomona.  The day begins at 2 o’clock with the opening Ceremony followed by the conferral of the First and Second Degrees.  We will then pause for some refreshments and then confer the Third and Fourth Degrees.  We welcome candidates from all Granges.  If you would like to volunteer to assist contact Pomona Master Cindy Legg.  If you have not seen the degrees in a while come and enjoy the afternoon.

On Saturday April 18, we will have an Open Mic program.  This begins at 2 o’clock.  Contact Ron Fischer if you would like to be on the program.  If you have no musical talent like me just come and enjoy the music.  Admission is free.

Our next regular Grange meeting is April 11th.  The program is titled “Mr. Ed.”  Scott and Mary Lou Raymond will be in charge of refreshments.

A reminder to all our members – On Saturday May 2nd we will be having a tag sale.  We need your help.  If you have something to donate, give us a call.   If you are a buyer come and check the bargains.  Please pass the word to your relatives, neighbors and friends.
