| SEPTEMBER 11, 2025 -- Our Grange participated in several town activities this year. We assisted with the set-up of luminaries for the historical re-enactment of Paul Revere’s ride. Also, we entered a Grange Exhibit into the Bethlehem Fair to celebrate it’s 100 Birthday.
At the Fair, we displayed posters providing information about Grange. Historical facts are that Bethlehem Grange#121 was organized on January 6, 1891 with 24 charter members. On October 1891, their first Grange Fair was held in the Town Hall with a stock exhibition on the adjoining grounds. This current “Bethlehem Fair” was started by Grange members in 1925 and evolved to become the Town’s Fair.
August’s lecturer program by Barbara R. was entitled ‘tomatoes”. She included a quiz and a game of Tic Tac Toe.
The 141st CT State Grange Session will be attended by our delegates Ray and Cheryl Johnstone.
