| JUNE 3, 2013 -- Our statewide tag sale was not as profitable as last year. As I write this article (May 5th) we have $615.00. The grapevine rumors tell me that a couple of Pomonas are planning on sending a cash donation. Whatever you did to help we appreciate your efforts and I am sure the Connecticut Food Bank will appreciate our donation.
We are going to have a food collection for the Food Bank at State Session. If everyone attending brought just one item- what a nice donation of food we will have.
I have been watching the mail and have received no “Granger of the Year” applications yet. I’ll keep checking the mail. Just a reminder to mark the calendar for September 21 for our Christmas Party. It will be a good time. And unless the weatherman pulls a late April fool’s joke on us the weather should be ideal for driving. |
