SEPTEMBER 2008 -- As the summer is winding down, we should be preparing to begin a new grange year. Many granges held picnics and other events during this period. Last July, the State Grange held the “Lets Celebrate” event.
The Publicity/Information Committee had a Poster judging at this event. We would like to thank those who submitted entries.
The winners were in Hand Drawn Posters: 1st Place - Lois Evankow of Lyme Grange; 2nd Place - Vivian Shaw of Granby Grange.
In Computer Drawn Posters: 1st Place - Pam Evankow of Lyme Grange. The Committee is planning to continue this contest for another year.
