June 2019 News from Bethlehem Grange No. 121

June 24: Hop Into Spring by Maggie Buck. Ref. by Cindy Finch and Linda Coad.

Donations have been made to the Dawn and Bella Fund in memory of Dawn Hochspring who died in the Sandy Hook School shooting. A memorial is being built at the Bethlehem Elementary School for her dog Bella.

Donations were also made to the Bethlehem Food Bank and to a Bell Choir.

Seed potatoes and string bean seeds have been given to VoAg at Nonnewaug High School.

Rich Wood was honored as our Citizen of the Year with the bell choir providing the entertainment for the program.

State Master George Russell presented certificates to Malcolm MacDonald and Eloise Osuch for 25 years, Barbara Robert and Robert Buck for 40 years and Fred Camp and Al Maddox for 50 years.
