Around The Grange
June News from Beacon Valley Grange No. 103

By Joanne Cipriano

  JUNE 6, 2023 --

BVG met last night. The attendance could have been better, but the interest and participation were 100%. Jean Meehan put on the program in keeping with our theme, this month “Lily of the Valley” and also provided the refreshments with the help of Secretary Marilyn.

Now that the roof has been replaced we are trying to spruce up our hall. The Scouts cleaned the grounds around the hall. Ron Fischer has been cutting some overgrown bushes and he, Pat Fischer, Marie Sousa, and yours truly have been doing some spring cleaning. We thank these members for a job well done. We could always use more volunteers especially window washers.

For the first time in many years, we are having visitors for our anniversary on June 9th.

On July 14th our program will be “Water Lily” and we will have our officers planning meeting.

We continue with a tag sale on the third Saturday of each month from 9 to 3 and Open Mic the same day from 2 to 5.

Our Grange door is always open.
